System announcements keep you informed about MYZO updates, new features, maintenance, and important information. This guide explains how to find and manage announcements.
What Are System Announcements
System announcements are official messages from the MYZO team. They inform you about:
- New features and updates
- Scheduled maintenance
- Important policy changes
- Tips for using MYZO
- Service status updates
Finding Announcements
Look for the bell icon in your dashboard sidebar. This icon shows:
- A red badge with a number when you have unread announcements
- No badge when all announcements are read
Click the bell icon to open the announcements panel.
Reading Announcements
To read announcements:
- Click the bell icon in your dashboard sidebar
- A panel opens showing all announcements
- Unread announcements display a New badge
- Click any announcement to read the full message
- The announcement expands to show complete details
Announcement Types
Announcements are color-coded to indicate their importance:
| Color | Type | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Blue | Information | General updates and news |
| Green | Success | New features and improvements |
| Yellow | Warning | Important notices requiring attention |
| Red | Error | Critical alerts or service issues |
Pay special attention to yellow and red announcements.
Marking Announcements as Read
You can mark announcements as read in two ways:
Mark Individual Announcements
- Open the announcements panel
- Find the announcement you want to mark
- Click Mark as read on that announcement
Mark All as Read
- Open the announcements panel
- Click Mark all as read at the top
- All announcements are now marked as read
The red badge count updates when you mark announcements as read.
Viewing Past Announcements
All announcements remain accessible:
- Scroll through the announcements panel
- Past announcements appear in chronological order
- You can review old announcements anytime
Announcements are not deleted after reading.
Email Notifications
Currently, announcements appear only within your dashboard. Email notifications for announcements may be added in future updates.
Announcement Frequency
The MYZO team sends announcements when:
- New features launch
- Important updates are available
- Maintenance is scheduled
- Issues affect the service
