Can't Upload Images
MYZO image widgets use URLs rather than direct uploads. This guide explains how to add images to your profile and troubleshoot common issues.
How Image Widgets Work
Instead of uploading images directly to MYZO, you provide a URL to an image hosted elsewhere. This approach:
- Allows you to use any image hosting service
- Gives you control over your images
- Lets you update images without changing your MYZO settings
Where to Host Images
You need to host your image on a service that provides direct image URLs.
Free Image Hosting Services
| Service | Website | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Imgur | imgur.com | Popular, easy to use |
| ImgBB | imgbb.com | Simple upload process |
| Postimages | postimages.org | No account required |
Other Hosting Options
- Your own website
- Cloud storage with public sharing enabled
- Content delivery network (CDN) services
How to Get an Image URL
- Upload your image to a hosting service
- Find the direct image URL (not the page URL)
- The URL should end in a file extension like
.jpg,.png,.gif, or.webp - Copy this URL and paste it in your MYZO image widget
URL Requirements
Your image URL must meet these requirements:
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Protocol | Must use HTTPS (secure connection) |
| Accessibility | Must be publicly accessible (no login required) |
| Link type | Must be a direct link to the image file |
Common Error Messages

Image Not Showing
If the URL is accepted but the image does not display:
- The URL may be broken or expired
- The hosting service may have deleted the image
- The hosting service may be blocking external requests
Solution: Re-upload the image to a reliable hosting service and get a new URL.
Tips for Success
- Use well-known image hosting services
- Test your image URL in a browser before adding it
- Keep a backup of important images
