Language Not Changing
MYZO supports 11 languages to serve users worldwide. If you have changed your language setting but the interface still displays the old language, this guide helps you troubleshoot and fix the problem.
Refresh the Page
The simplest fix is often a page refresh. After changing your language in Settings, force a refresh:
| Operating System | Keyboard Shortcut |
|---|---|
| Windows | F5 or Ctrl+R |
| Mac | Cmd+R |
| Linux | F5 or Ctrl+R |
A standard refresh should apply your new language setting immediately.
Force a Hard Refresh
If a normal refresh does not work, try a hard refresh to bypass cached content:
| Operating System | Hard Refresh Shortcut |
|---|---|
| Windows (Chrome/Edge) | Ctrl+Shift+R |
| Windows (Firefox) | Ctrl+F5 |
| Mac (Chrome/Safari) | Cmd+Shift+R |
| Mac (Firefox) | Cmd+Shift+R |
A hard refresh forces the browser to reload all page resources without using cached versions.
Clear Browser Cache
Old cached content can override your new language setting. Clear your browser cache to remove stored data:
Steps to Clear Cache
- Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac)
- Select Cached images and files
- Set time range to Last hour or All time
- Click Clear data
- Return to MYZO and refresh the page
After clearing cache, your language preference should display correctly.
Verify Your Setting Was Saved
Sometimes the language change does not save properly. Double-check that your preference is recorded:
- Go to Settings
- Click on Language
- Verify your preferred language is selected
- If the correct language is not selected, select it again
- Click Save Language
- Wait for the confirmation message
If you see a success message but the language does not change, continue with the next steps.
Log Out and Log Back In
A fresh login can apply language settings that are not updating:
- Click Logout in the sidebar
- Close your browser completely
- Open your browser again
- Go to MYZO and log in
- Check if the language is correct
This process resets your session and applies stored preferences from scratch.
Check Browser Language Settings
Your browser may have language settings that conflict with MYZO:
How Browser Language Affects MYZO
- Some browsers send language preferences with every request
- MYZO may detect browser language on first visit
- Conflicts can cause unexpected language display
How to Check Browser Language
Chrome:
- Go to Settings
- Click Languages
- Review your preferred languages
Firefox:
- Go to Settings
- Click Language
- Check your content language preferences
Safari:
- Go to System Preferences
- Click Language and Region
- Review your preferred languages
If your browser language differs from your MYZO setting, try matching them or setting your browser to a neutral language.

- Open a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
- Go to MYZO and log in
- Go to Settings and change language

If the language changes in a different browser, the problem is with your original browser's settings or extensions.
