MYZO

Links Not Working

If links on your MYZO profile are not working correctly, this guide helps you diagnose and fix the problem.

Check URL Format

The most common issue is incorrect URL formatting. Your URLs must:

  • Start with https:// or http://
  • Be complete without any missing characters
  • Have no typos
IncorrectCorrect
twitter.com/usernamehttps://twitter.com/username
www.example.comhttps://www.example.com
linkedin.com/in/namehttps://linkedin.com/in/name

Test the Link Directly

Copy the URL and paste it directly into your browser address bar:

  1. If it works in the browser, the issue may be with how it was saved in MYZO
  2. If it does not work in the browser, the destination website has a problem

Social Link Validation

Social links must match the platform you selected:

PlatformValid Domains
Twittertwitter.com, x.com
LinkedInlinkedin.com
Instagraminstagram.com
Facebookfacebook.com
GitHubgithub.com

If you receive validation errors, ensure the URL matches the platform you selected.

Blocked URLs

Some URLs are blocked for security reasons:

  • Known phishing websites
  • Malware distribution sites
  • Other dangerous domains

If a URL is blocked, you will see an error message. If you believe the URL is incorrectly blocked, contact support.

Link Not Appearing on Profile

If your link was saved but does not appear:

  1. Verify you saw the "Saved" confirmation
  2. Check that your profile is set to public
  3. Perform a hard refresh: Ctrl+F5 (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac)
  4. Clear your browser cache

Wrong Preview Image

Link previews are fetched automatically when you add a URL. If the preview looks incorrect:

  • The destination site may not have proper Open Graph meta tags
  • Try removing the link and adding it again
  • The website may have changed its preview image since you added the link

Links Opening in Same Tab

By default, links open in a new tab. If links are opening in the same tab:

  • Check your browser settings
  • Some browsers have extensions that modify link behavior
