Creating Image Widgets

Image widgets display pictures directly on your MYZO profile. This guide explains how to create image widgets and where to host your images.

Understanding Image Widgets

Image widgets display pictures on your profile. Unlike image links that take visitors to another website, image widgets show the image directly on your profile page. This is ideal for showcasing visual content without sending visitors away.

How to Create an Image Widget

Follow these steps to create an image widget:

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Scroll down to the Widgets section
  3. Click the Add Widget button
  4. Select Image as the widget type
  5. Enter a title for your image
  6. Enter the image URL (must start with https://)
  7. Click Create Widget to save

Your image widget appears immediately on your profile.

Image URL Requirements

Your image URL must meet these requirements:

RequirementDetails
ProtocolMust use HTTPS (secure)
TypeMust be a direct link to an image file
AccessMust be publicly accessible (no login required)
FormatJPG, PNG, GIF, or WebP

Example of Valid URLs

https://i.imgur.com/abc123.png
https://res.cloudinary.com/demo/image/upload/sample.jpg

Example of Invalid URLs

http://example.com/photo.jpg (not HTTPS)
https://example.com/gallery (not a direct image link)
https://drive.google.com/file/view (requires login)

Where to Host Images

MYZO does not host images directly. You need to upload your images to an image hosting service and use the URL. Here are recommended options:

Other Options

How to Get a Direct Image URL

To get the correct URL from most hosting services:

  1. Upload your image to the hosting service
  2. Right-click on the uploaded image
  3. Select Copy image address or Copy image URL
  4. Paste this URL in your image widget

The URL should end with a file extension like .jpg, .png, or .gif.

Image Widget Display

On your public profile, image widgets display:

  • The image at an appropriate size
  • The title you provided (if shown by your template)
  • Proper proportions maintained

The exact display depends on your selected template.
