What is the Contact Form?
The MYZO Contact Form allows visitors to send you messages directly from your profile page. Instead of displaying your email address publicly, visitors complete a form and their messages arrive in your private dashboard inbox. This guide explains how the contact form works, what information it collects, and how to get started.
Why Use a Contact Form
A contact form offers several advantages over displaying your email address directly:
| Benefit | Description |
|---|---|
| Lead capture | Collect structured inquiries from interested visitors |
| Privacy protection | Your email address stays private from bots and scrapers |
| Centralized messages | All inquiries appear in one dashboard location |
| Professional image | Forms feel more organized than bare email links |
| Information gathering | Collect name, subject, and other details automatically |
The contact form creates a professional communication channel without exposing your personal email.
How the Contact Form Works
The contact form process involves five simple steps:
The Contact Form Flow
- You enable the form: Turn on the contact form in your profile settings
- Button appears: A Contact or Message button displays on your public profile
- Visitor fills form: They enter their name, email, and message
- Message delivered: The submission arrives in your Dashboard Inbox
- You respond: Read the message and reply via email
This flow captures visitor information and gives you control over when and how you respond.
Information Collected by the Form
The contact form gathers the following information from visitors:
| Field | Required | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Yes | Identify who is contacting you |
| Yes | Allow you to respond to them | |
| Phone | No | Optional contact method |
| Subject | No | Brief topic description |
| Message | Yes | The actual content of their inquiry |
Visitors must provide their email address so you have a way to respond to their message.
Plan Requirements
The Contact Form and Inbox features are available exclusively to Pro and Business subscribers.
| Plan | Contact Form Access |
|---|---|
| Free | Not available |
| Pro | Full access |
