Viewing and Managing Bookings
The Bookings dashboard serves as your central hub for viewing and managing all appointments scheduled through your MYZO profile. From this dashboard, you can review booking details, confirm or cancel appointments, and contact the people who have booked time with you. This guide explains how to effectively manage your bookings.
Accessing the Bookings Dashboard
To view your bookings:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Click on Bookings in the navigation
This page displays all your scheduled appointments in a calendar view.
Understanding the Calendar View
The bookings calendar provides multiple viewing options:

| Day view | Detailed look at a single day schedule |
| Week view | Planning and overview of the upcoming week |
| Month view | Long-term scheduling and availability overview |
Click on any booking in the calendar to view its full details.
Booking Information Details
Each booking contains the following information:

| Appointment type | The meeting type the visitor selected |
| Visitor name | Name of the person who booked |
| Email address | Contact email for follow-up communication |
| Phone number | Phone contact (if the visitor provided it) |

| Status | Current state of the booking |
All this information is available when you click on a booking.
Understanding Booking Statuses
Bookings move through different statuses as they progress:

| Pending | New booking awaiting your review | Review and confirm or cancel |
| Confirmed | You have accepted the booking | Prepare for the meeting |
| Cancelled | The booking was cancelled | No action needed |

Monitor pending bookings regularly to respond promptly to new requests.
Confirming a Booking
To confirm a pending booking:
- Click on the booking in your calendar
- Review all the booking details
- Click the Confirm button
- Wait for the confirmation message
When you confirm a booking:
- The booking status changes to Confirmed
- The visitor receives an email notification (if enabled)
- The time slot is officially reserved
Confirm bookings as soon as possible to show professionalism and reduce visitor uncertainty.
Cancelling a Booking
To cancel a booking:
- Click on the booking you need to cancel
- Click the Cancel Booking button
- Confirm the cancellation when prompted
- Optionally add a reason for cancellation
When you cancel a booking:
- The booking status changes to Cancelled
- The visitor receives a cancellation notification (if enabled)
- The time slot becomes available again for other visitors
Consider contacting the visitor directly to explain the cancellation and offer alternative times.
Contacting Visitors
You can reach out to people who have booked with you directly from the booking details:
Contact Options
- Email: Click the email address to open your default email client with a new message
- Phone: Click the phone number to initiate a call (works on mobile devices)
Use these contact options to:
- Confirm meeting details
- Send preparation instructions
- Reschedule if needed
- Follow up after the appointment
Rescheduling Appointments
MYZO does not currently have a built-in reschedule feature. To reschedule an appointment:
- Cancel the existing booking
- Contact the visitor to explain and apologize
- Ask the visitor to book a new time slot
- Direct them to your profile booking page
Alternatively:
- Contact the visitor to agree on a new time
- Cancel the current booking
- Create a manual record of the new appointment
Best Practices for Managing Bookings
Follow these recommendations for effective booking management:
Check Daily
Review your bookings dashboard at least once per day. Do not miss new booking requests that require your confirmation.
Respond Promptly
Confirm or address pending bookings within 24 hours. Quick responses demonstrate professionalism and respect for your visitors' time.
Prepare in Advance
Before each appointment:
- Review the booking details
- Check the visitor's notes for context
- Prepare any necessary materials
- Set up your meeting space or video call
Follow Up After Meetings
After completing an appointment:
- Send a thank-you message
- Provide any promised materials or information
- Ask for feedback if appropriate
- Invite them to book again if relevant
Keep Records
Use the completed bookings as a record of your meeting history. This information helps with:
- Tracking client relationships
- Preparing for follow-up meetings
- Understanding your booking patterns
